I hope you all have had an enjoyable fall and are ready for what promises to be another challenging winter. Keep those little dogs safe and warm!
As you know this is an election year for our executive. I am pleased to announce nominations were sent in and vacancies have been filled, with all positions being acclaimed.
This is our new executive for 2015 & 2016:
PRESIDENT – Linda Dowdle
VICE PRESIDENT – Sarah Paquette
SECRETARY – Kim Hurd
TREASURER – Chris Borowka
DIRECTORS Rhoda Holder – Quebec
Sally Harrington-Philippo – Quebec
Mark Paquette – Ontario
Judy White – Ontario
Terry Carter – Alberta
Nilda Dorini - British Columbia
Jeff Nesbitt will continue as webmaster of our site and I will continue as Editor of the Natter.
On the conformation front, Clive Davies has agreed to look after Specialties and Boosters and Lesley Walter will look after the duties of Trophy Chair.
Thank you to all those who have supported the NTCC for the past two years. The time and effort contributed by our volunteers ensures the continued survival and success of this club dedicated to our precious Norfolk breed.
Our National Specialty for 2015 will once again be held in conjunction with the Erie Shores Kennel Club. Our judge will be Michael Dougherty, from California. We will also be holding a Booster there.
Any suggestions for a Regional Specialty and Boosters would be appreciated. We also would like to have a Fun Day next summer and need volunteers to support and organize the event.
You will notice that members have generously contributed articles and photographs to this issue of the Natter. Please consider sharing your Norfolk experiences with our readership.
Happy holidays to all! Linda Dowdle
