US/Can CH Dolby’s Oliver Twist II
We feel privileged and blessed to have had Oliver as part of our lives and miss him terribly since he transitioned to the Rainbow Bridge.
Tony Gabrielli and Wayne Palmer bred Oliver. We will be forever grateful to them for allowing this wonderfully intelligent, affectionate and especially handsome Norfolk to join our family and provide the foundation for our breeding programme. He was Dralion's first stud dog as well as a highly successful show dog in the US and Canada. Oliver was the top winning Norfolk in Canada in 2001 and 2002.
He won multiple Regional and National Specialties here in Canada. He also had many significant group placements in Canada and the US. Oliver is the first Norfolk to ever win two Best in Shows in Canada!! He also went Best of Breed at Hatboro over 60+ entries and Best of Opposite to the famous Coco at Montgomery County Dog Show 2002, the biggest All-Terrier show in the US!
Thanks to Jodi Paquette who helped him reach his full potential in the show ring. Oliver produced many successful champions in the ring, talented performance dogs and treasured companions. He has had a significant impact on the Norfolk breed in Canada.
After his show career ended he enjoyed a well-deserved retirement as a country gentlemen. He was a great ambassador for the breed as he welcomed all who visited and entertained his admirers with his many tricks. Oliver enjoyed life to the fullest as our hiking buddy, traveling companion, avid vermin hunter, well-loved housedog and bed warmer at the end of each busy day. Oliver was truly a once in a lifetime dog. He lives on in our hearts and memories and in his many progeny.
